Get Stripped: Virgin America And Black Star Beer Team Up To Sponsor The Official VIP Party Of The 5th Annual Sunset Strip Music Festival

WHAT: Virgin America, the award-winning California-based airline and official airline of
the Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) for the fifth year in a row, has teamed up with
Black Star Beer to sponsor the official VIP party of the festival honoring The Doors at
SkyBar at Mondrian Los Angeles in West Hollywood to kick off the festival weekend on
August 17 - with a special performance by Ray Manzarek and Robby Kreiger of The Doors.
Earlier this month, music fans also had the chance to win the ultimate weekend on The
Strip. The winners will break on through to L.A., rock out at the Sunset Strip Music
Festival, and meet members of The Doors at a star-studded VIP party and all who entered
received a special flight offer on Virgin America.

Celebrating the vibrant musical legacy of The Sunset Strip, this year's SSMF will showcase
a number of The Strip's most legendary clubs and bands. Clubs participating in the
festivities during the three-day festival running from August 16 through August 18,
include The Roxy Theater, House of Blues Sunset Strip, Whisky A Go-Go, Key Club and
Viper Room. Sunset Boulevard will also be closed to traffic between San Vicente Boulevard
and Doheny Drive for the street festival on Saturday, August 18 where headlining acts
Marilyn Manson, The Offspring, Steve Aoki, Bad Religion, Black Label Society and other
bands will perform.

Virgin America is the music fan's airline and has the largest in-flight entertainment
