PARIS, Aug. 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- midem today announces that the classical pianist, cultural icon and face of various global marketing campaigns, Lang Lang, will deliver a keynote at midem's Visionary Monday. For the second year at midem the event will bring together a host of forward thinkers for a day of high-octane conferences, discussions, and presentations that focus on key music industry issues. midem is organised by Reed MIDEM, 26-29 January 2013, in Cannes, France.

Recognised in 2009 by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world and heralded by the New York Times as the "hottest artist on the classical music planet", Lang Lang will take the stage at midem to discuss how talent, technology and brand partnerships have contributed in exposing his music to a broad community and audience, while disrupting the classical music world.
