September 10 Kicks Off Cable's Diversity Week in New York City

CHANTILLY, Va., Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) today announced that Chelsea Clinton, Special Correspondent for NBC News, will commence the 2012 WICT Leadership Conference with opening remarks and a question and answer session on Monday, September 10.

Chelsea Clinton joined NBC News in 2011 as a special correspondent, reporting feature stories as part of the "Making a Difference" series for NBC Nightly News and Rock Center with Brian Williams. Clinton is currently pursuing a doctorate at Oxford as well as working at New York University, the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative. She serves on the boards of the School of American Ballet, Common Sense Media and the Weill Cornell Medical College. Previously, Clinton worked at McKinsey & Company and Avenue Capital.
