ORANJESTAD, Aruba, July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday night, June 28, 2012, the Divi Resorts group hosted a select assembly of film industry guests and international media for an exclusive cocktail social under the stars on an elegantly appointed outdoor terrace area at the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort. The social, which was attended by Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated actor Virginia Madsen and actor Xavier Samuel of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" fame, was the official closing party for the 3(rd) Annual Aruba International Film Festival immediately following the event's final new film screening.

Attendees entered via a red carpet to the event area, with comfortable seating areas on the open-air portion of the terrace and under the large tent. Attendees mingled while listening to music by the dj and live drummer, viewed original artwork displays by local Aruban artists and admired the cars provided by event sponsor BMW strategically placed around the perimeter of the terrace. A surprise performance by dancers in traditional feathered headdresses and sparkling sequined costumes added a dose of local culture to the successful event.
