Democratic National Convention Committee Selects TVEyes for Broadcast Media Monitoring

FAIRFIELD, Conn., July 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TVEyes' Media Monitoring Suite for broadcast TV and radio media monitoring has been chosen as the official provider for the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

TVEyes will provide real-time television and radio monitoring and alerts as well as historical keyword search to enable the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) communications team to follow and respond to news and events as they occur.

"We are excited to partner with TVEyes to ensure that the 2012 Democratic National Convention team has the most up-to-date and up-to-the-moment knowledge of all of our media coverage," said Kristie Greco, Chief Communications Officer for the DNCC. "With 15,000 members of the media expected to attend and cover our convention, TVEyes will be essential to helping us monitor the broadcast news."

"TVEyes is pleased to support the broadcast monitoring needs of the Democratic National Convention," said David Ives, chief executive officer of TVEyes Inc. "Today's rapid pace of domestic and global events combined with shorter reporting cycles means that political candidates and parties must be prepared to respond to news, political issues and competitors in real time, as coverage airs in the U.S. and worldwide. TVEyes, with its real-time search and monitoring of national network, cable and affiliate broadcasts in all 210 U.S. designated market areas (DMAs) and major global markets, uniquely makes this possible."
