As Formula Drift's exclusive broadcast partner, Ubiquity Studios has recently broadcasted the last three FD events at the Long Beach Grand Prix in Long Beach, CA on April 6th and 7th, Road Atlanta in Atlanta, GA on May 11th and 12th, and at the Palm Beach Intl Raceway on June 1st and 2nd. Ubiquity continues to be at the forefront in IP Backhaul technology and has partnered with Formula Drift to broadcast all of their events.
Ryan Sage Co-Founder and Vice President of Formula Drift said "Ubiquity's cutting edge broadcasting technology and capabilities have increased Formula Drifts viewership dramatically, making it the most viewed motorsports live stream in the world."
Ubiquity's Director of live webcasts, Daniel Swiney, who has done over 125 live broadcasts, said "We could not have asked for a more successful series so far. Ubiquity Studios continues to deliver the high quality HD productions our clients have come to expect."
First opening in 1950 as Wall Stadium, Wall Speedway as it's now known. will host Formula Drifts Round 4: The Gauntlet on June 22-23, 2012.
The track lives up to its moniker as the "Gauntlet" with a 16 degree banked oval along the straightaway and 30 degrees on the turns. The drivers will be challenged on this course and this track is the first on the schedule where drivers utilize the entire oval. This course is very tricky and many drivers have fallen victim to the degree of difficulty that the bank, straightaway, and inside turn creates. Each seat in the house has a great view of the action within the "bowl" and fans will not be disappointed.
The final round on the East Coast at Wall Speedway will be one of the most exciting events of the season. The 2-day event weekend will be filled with the best drifting action in the nation with the top drivers putting it all on the line on the very tricky course. Wall Speedway is a very fan-friendly venue and fans will be treated to a great view of all the action.
Ubiquity and Formula drift will team up again for the fifth race in the series at Evergreen Speedway in Seattle, WA on July 20th and 21st.
