ScoreBig Daily App for iPhone and iPad Debuts New York Service, Giving Metro Area Fans Immediate Access to Hot Live Event Tickets at Below Retail Price

ScoreBig.com Reveals Results of Behavioral Survey; 85 Percent of Northeasterners Would Attend More Live Events if Tickets Weren't So Expensive

NEW YORK, May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ScoreBig.com, a service that allows consumers to save between 10 to 60 percent on great tickets to their favorite pro and college sports, concerts, and theater events without any fees or shipping charges, today announced its New York launch of ScoreBig Daily, a free app for the iPhone and iPad. Launched in Los Angeles and San Francisco in April, ScoreBig Daily now gives metro area fans access to great seats, from the rafters to the front row, for great live events going on the same day, all below retail price, guaranteed.

Just like ScoreBig.com, every ticket on ScoreBig Daily is always below retail price, and will never have any processing, delivery or convenience fee of any kind. With just a few taps, ScoreBig Daily lets people pick the number of tickets they want for the hottest events going on in a city each day, and then pick the price they want to pay for a specific seating area in the stadium or venue. Offers for tickets are accepted or rejected instantly, which makes it quick and easy to find something affordable to do any day or night of the week.

To support the New York launch, ScoreBig.comalso announced regional results from its "Spotlight on Live Events in America" survey, conducted online within the United States on its behalf by Harris Interactive in April amongst over 2,000 adults age 18+. The survey showed that 85 percent of adult Northeasterners would attend more live events if tickets weren't so expensive, and that 86 percent of adult Northeasterners (compared to the national average of 69 percent) feel exhilarated after returning from an event (e.g., sporting events, concerts, theater performances). 39 percent attend three or fewer events each year. Additionally, 84 percent of Northeastern adults feel cheated by all the hidden fees and charges connected with ticket purchasing.

"Our survey shows that most people want to get out and enjoy live events, but ticket prices have skyrocketed by about 70 percent nationwide over the last decade, with even bigger price increases in New York. Many New Yorkers are getting priced out of seeing their favorite teams or bands play, or aren't able to go as frequently as they would like," said Adam Kanner, ScoreBig.com CEO. "By offering the ScoreBig Daily App in New York, our goal is to get more metro area fans cheering for New York's exciting pro teams, discovering the next chart-topping band at local clubs, or going to an acclaimed Broadway show with family and friends. We're making great seats, for great events affordable again."

Individuals living in cities where the app is not yet available, or who do not have an iPhone can still use ScoreBig.com where they can enjoy and instantaneously access the million tickets, from the rafters down to the front row, for thousands of sports, music and theater events available on the site.

The ScoreBig Daily App is available for free at the iTunes App Store, www.iTunes.com/AppStore. To view a press release and video on the Los Angeles and San Francisco ScoreBig Daily launch, check out ScoreBig's Los Angeles and San Francisco Announcement.
