Steiner Studios Taps Conversation to Develop New Website

New site will incorporate information about new facilities at the studios and links to social media pages

NEW YORK, April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Steiner Studios - the state-of-the-art film and television production facility that unveiled five new soundstages in the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Monday, March 26 - has tapped Manhattan-based Conversation, LLC to assist in designing and developing a new website.

"We are excited to work with Steiner Studios in developing a new online identity," said David Orellana, Design Director at Conversation. "By launching a modern website with a convenient user interface, Steiner Studios will be able to connect with a much larger audience of producers, directors, and business people looking for the best place to produce a major television show, commercial, or feature film on the East Coast."

Steiner Studios' new stages, totaling 45,000 square feet, will substantially increase the number of jobs in the film, television, and commercial production industries in New York City. In addition, the stages feature amenities including sound-proof and column-free stages, silent air conditioning, and a cyclorama on each stage. With the opening of the new stages, Steiner Studios now totals 355,000 square feet of stage and support space.

The website itself will feature a modern, sleek, user-friendly look and interface, in addition to providing links to Steiner Studios' Facebook and Twitter pages. The site will also help to provide a deeper and more integrated look into the brand. The tone will be high-end and professional, and will reiterate Steiner Studios' standing as the pre-eminent leader and largest support and production facility on the East Coast.

Steiner Studios currently utilizes word-of-mouth marketing, along with print ads appearing in production guides and listings in online and print directories such as NY411. Steiner Studios is repped by Rubenstein Communications, who has recently begun social media integration for the studio. The new website is scheduled to launch in summer 2012.

"We will reach a wider audience, attract a greater number of productions to New York, create jobs, and bring greater awareness of Steiner to the industry," says Douglas C. Steiner, Chairman of Steiner Studios. "We're very excited to work with Conversation to upgrade our online presence to better reflect and assist our rapid growth, premiere position in the industry, and general branding."
