Postulate One Project: An 18-Month, 10,000 Mile Bicycle Journey to Discover and Document Entrepreneurs Across Eurasia

NEW YORK, March 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan Hartley and Chris Walker announce the launch of Postulate One, an unprecedented 10,000-mile bicycle journey to discover entrepreneurs across Eurasia. Hartley and Walker, the cultural explorers leading Postulate One, will seek out and document young visionaries impacting change in the booming economies of Eurasia. Their bicycle trip will start on March 10th, in Paris, France, ending in September 2013 in Shanghai, China. Follow their journey at www.postulateone.com.

Through documentary style journalism, Postulate One will reveal the power and influence of these entrepreneurs. Hartley explains, "We recognize that economic advancement is driven by the leaders who create opportunities for themselves and their communities." He continues, "We'll capture and highlight the elusive human element that affects change and empowers communities." Traveling by bicycle will enable the partners to immerse themselves in these cultures, and meet people from all walks of life. Hartley and Walker will document their journey through online reporting and video, working in conjunction with Loren Nielsen, President of Los Angeles-based ETC Productions. Garrett Smith, Vice President of Ha Productions and consultant to Paramount Pictures will film the first half of the trip. Partnerships with global entrepreneurship organizations including Kairos Society, will aid the partners in pinpointing young leaders throughout their trip.

Morgan Hartley graduated from the University of Chicago in 2011 with a degree in Political Science. He co-founded Moneythink, a non-profit dedicated to teaching financial literacy through entrepreneurship. Chris Walker graduated, summa cum laude, from UCLA in Fall 2011. His journalism experience includes writing for LA Weekly, and managing the production department at UCLA Radio.
