Entravision Communications Corporation Presents Special Broadcast of Exclusive Interview with President Obama Tonight

Special to Air on 18 of Entravision's Univision Affiliate Television Stations

SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC) today announced it has secured an exclusive one-on-one interview with President Barack Obama that will be broadcast on the local newscasts of 18 of its Univision affiliate television stations Monday, March 12th. The interview will also be rebroadcast on Tuesday, March 13th on Entravision's La Tricolor network radio stations, which cover 13 major Hispanic radio markets in the U.S. The interview will also be available on Entravision's online platforms and for mobile viewing.

The exclusive interview is being conducted by well-known and popular news anchor Adriana Arevalo of Entravision's "Noticias Univision Nevada," the daily evening news program on KINC-TV in Las Vegas. The interview was recorded earlier today at the White House with Ms. Arevalo and President Obama discussing a range of critical issues affecting the growing Latino population and Hispanic communities across the country, including immigration reform, the Latino influence on the upcoming election, as well as the national economy, among other topics. In addition to the President, Arevalo also conducted interviews with Ken Salazar, Secretary of the Interior and Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Homeland Security.

"We are honored to, once again, be one of the few television station groups invited to sit down and have exclusive access to President Obama," said Walter Ulloa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Entravision. "Latino voters are playing a significant role in the upcoming election and this interview represents an opportunity for our audiences to hear the President address the critical issues that are most important to them."

Entravision recently announced the launch of its new weekly political public affairs show "Perspectiva Nacional con Armando Guzman" on all 24 of its Univision affiliate television stations, including stations in key battleground states. The show is part of Entravision's ongoing commitment to keep its audiences well-informed with the latest issues and current events on both regional and national levels. Entravision has also been an active member of the ya es hora campaign, The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), the National Council of the Raza (NCLR) and Mi Familia Vota, and has partnered with a number of organizations on public service campaigns.

"Entravision's markets are among the fastest-growing and highest-density Latino markets in the nation, with the Latino community representing 68 percent of all the population growth since the 2000 Census," added Ulloa. "As a leader in Spanish-language news and information, we take very seriously our role to inform the Hispanic community about the upcoming election as a means of promoting their civic duty to get out and vote on Election Day. We are proud to be expanding our coverage with the launch of 'Perspectiva Nacional con Armando Guzman'."

A nationally-recognized journalist and producer with a focus on politics, Ms. Arevalo joined Entravision as News Director of KINC-TV Channel 15 Univision in July 2006, where she developed and launched the first statewide newscast in 2010. Since then, she has interviewed a number of well-recognized and important political, business and cultural leaders for the station.
