USA TODAY Announces Kick-Off of 2012 U.S. Young Lions Competitions
MCLEAN, Va., Feb. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- USA TODAY, official U.S. representative to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, announces the kickoff of the 2012 U.S. Young Lions competitions. Through this annual competition USA TODAY identifies emerging American creative talent and celebrates them on a global stage.
Four winning teams - Cyber, Film (TV), Media, and Print - will be selected to represent the United States at the renowned Cannes Lions Festival held June 17-23, 2012. Competitions are open to copywriters, art directors, web designers, young directors, as well as media planners, buyers and strategists under the age of 28. The annual competitions offer young advertising talent the opportunity to gain worldwide exposure.
