HBO Films, in partnership with
the Atlanta Press Club and
XFINITY, will host the
invitation-only Atlanta
premiere of HBO Films' GAME
What: CHANGE.

Starring Julianne Moore, Woody
Harrelson and Ed Harris, HBO
Films' GAME CHANGE follows John
McCain's (Harris) 2008
presidential campaign, from his
selection of Alaska Governor
Sarah Palin (Moore) as his
running mate to their ultimate
defeat in the general election.
Told through the eyes of
McCain's senior campaign
strategist Steve Schmidt
(Harrelson), the man who most
championed Palin for the
ticket, the film revisits a
defining moment in U.S.
politics. Based on the
bestselling book "Game Change,"
by Mark Halperin and John
Heilemann, the film is directed
by Jay Roach and written by
Danny Strong, whose previous
collaboration was HBO's Emmy(R)
Award-winning film "Recount."
Executive produced by Tom
Hanks, Gary Goetzman and Jay
Roach; Danny Strong and Steven
Shareshian co-executive
produce.
