Call for Nominations Announced for NAMIC's 2012 Next Generation Leaders Awards
Emerging Communications Industry Executives Of Color To Be Honored During The NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast Scheduled For May 23rd in Boston
NEW YORK, Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), today announced its call for nominations for the 2012 Next Generation Leaders Awards. Honoring emerging executives for their professional achievements, as well as their efforts in fostering multi-ethnic diversity and inclusion, the Next Generation Leaders Awards will be presented during the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast. Held as part of Cable Connection - Spring, the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, 2012, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, Massachusetts.

The 2012 Next Generation Leaders Awards are presented in partnership with Multichannel News. Since its inception in 2006, the Next Generation Leaders Awards have recognized executives of color, who reflect and embrace NAMIC's mission to educate, advocate and empower to achieve multi-ethnic diversity in the communications industry. Business leaders age 45 and under are eligible for nomination. Awards are presented in four categories: Cable MSO, Cable Programmer, Technology Company or Discipline and Creative Discipline. The nominations deadline is March 9, 2012.
