Opening Date and Movies Announced for Nordica Theatre in Freeport Village Station

FREEPORT, Maine, Nov. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Berenson Associates, the developers of Freeport Village Station announced today that the Nordica Theatre, www.nordicatheatre.com, will open on Friday, November 18, 2011 with three of this year's most anticipated new films. "The Twilight Saga - Breaking Dawn - Part 1," and "Happy Feet Two," will open on November 18th, and "The Muppets" will open on November 23, 2011.

"We are extremely excited to bring a state-of-the-art cinema to the Greater Portland and Casco Bay area," stated Mark Benvenuto, Vice President of Operations for Belmont Capital, LLC. "Our 6-screen theater will feature all digital projection and audio thus providing the highest quality picture presentation and the richest digital sound. Our patrons will enjoy Hollywood's finest pictures while sitting in the most comfortable seating available today." Nordica Theatre is operated by Massachusetts-based Belmont Capital, which also operates the Windham Five Star Cinema, the Wells Five Star Cinema and Bangor Mall Cinemas.

The Nordica Theatre is located in Freeport Village Station, at the corner of Mill and Depot Streets. Movie patrons can park in the 550-space parking garage in the complex. All of the parking is free.

Freeport Village Station plans to hold two Saturday matinee "appreciation events" a year when Freeport residents will be invited to a night out at the movies.
