Rentrak will publish weekly reports combining Rentrak's leading TV Essentials system with Bluefin Labs' data, which map social media conversations and sentiment to their televised source.
Bluefin Labs' social response analytics show how television programming and advertising trigger reactions and reverberation through social media, and the extent that this affects audience visibility and engagement. This information will be offered in conjunction with viewership ratings as Rentrak's "chatter index," offering further insight into how programs compare to each other. The report will be available to the public on www.rentrak.com and for email subscribers.
