LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- NBC and Reveille will continue its successful relationships with some of the most globally recognized brands, including General Mills, Subway Restaurants®, Brita, Walgreens and Jennie-O for season 12 of THE BIGGEST LOSER, which airs Tuesdays on NBC (8-10 p.m. ET/PT).

Recognizing the seamless integration opportunities, brands have chosen to highlight their products on "The Biggest Loser" since the show first premiered in 2004, with Subway Restaurants® joining the show in season 3, Brita in season 5, General Mills in season 7 and Walgreens in season 9. This season participating General Mills brands will be Yoplait Light, Green Giant and Progresso Soup.

NBC's hit series kicked off its 12th season on September 20 with new trainers Anna Kournikova and Dolvett Quince joining "The Biggest Loser" fan favorite Bob Harper and show host Alison Sweeney in an unprecedented "Battle of the Ages." In tonight's special NFL episode, guest stars will include Drew Brees, Tim Teebow, Clay Matthews, Tony Gonzalez, Shawn Merriman and Eric Dickerson.
