LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Azteca America, the authentically Mexican television network for U.S. Spanish-language viewers, announced today that its largest affiliate group Una Vez Mas, LP (UVM) has acquired KEMO TV 50, Santa Rosa, California from High Plains Broadcasting, Inc. and Newport Television. The station was formerly named KFTY and will continue to serve the San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose area, the ninth-largest Hispanic DMA (Designated Television Market Area) in the US. KEMO, now an affiliate of the Azteca America television network, can be viewed on Comcast Channel 31, DirecTV and Dish Channel 50. With the addition of KEMO, Azteca America now reaches over 68 percent of US Hispanics.
