Don't miss a minute of the action. Tune in to Fuel TV to see the race from beginning to end on Sept. 18 at 10 p.m. ET; Sept. 21 at 2:00 p.m. ET; Sept. 28 at 7:00 p.m. ET; and Sept. 29 at 4:30 a.m. ET. October and November airing schedules will be announced at a later date.
This year, Team General Tire crushed the competition, sweeping the podium in Las Vegas March 26 - the first sweep at the Mint 400 since the '80s. 'Ballistic' BJ Baldwin unleashed his fury, taking first overall and first in Unlimited Truck. He was followed by father Bobby Baldwin in second overall and second in Unlimited Truck, and by Mikey Childress and Rob Sims, crossing the line at third overall and first in Class 1.
The General Tire Mint 400 is considered by many to be the roughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America. Started in 1976, the Mint is steeped in American lore as thousands of racers as well as celebrities from around the world have attempted to tame the brutal Nevada desert. The 2011 Mint 400 was an epic battle between some of the top off-road racers in the world in twenty-five different classes of vehicles.
Shot entirely in HD by Mad Media, the largest, most experienced film production crew in off-road, The Mint features stunning cinematography captured in some of the most remote spots on the racecourse. Witness the bumper-to-bumper battling from helicopter, feel the power of these incredible vehicles from the passenger seat, watch as racers fall away embroiled in the agony of defeat, and share in the glory of victory. Drivers with special features in the show include 'Ballistic' BJ Baldwin, Jim Riley from Azunia, and Harvey Letner.
Tune in to Fuel TV Sept. 18 at 10 p.m. ET and experience the legendary Mint 400 yourself.
