NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- TV fans everywhere have three more days to bid on and win memorable pieces of TV history and unforgettable fan experiences. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation's Fourth Annual Primetime Emmy®Season Online Auction is open for bidding until 4:00pm PT on Friday, August 26 at www.ebay.com/emmysfoundation. Items will begin coming down one by one until 5:00pm PT. The Foundation serves as the charitable arm of the Television Academy and all auction proceeds will support its educational and archival programs.
Top-ticket items include front row seats at the Primetime Emmy Red Carpet Arrivals, or a private dinner for four prepared by "Hell's Kitchen" season eight winner, Nona Sivley at LA Market Restaurant at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles (current bid, $500).
"The auction is an incredible opportunity for TV fans to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memorabilia, while supporting an important cause," said Norma Provencio Pichardo, Executive Director of the Television Academy Foundation. "We are grateful for the television community's generous donations of items that attract the funds necessary to help support the mission of the Foundation."
Other items hot on the auction block include autographed memorabilia from some of today's most popular shows, including a hat from the show "White Collar" autographed by series star Matt Bomer (current bid, $710); "Covert Affairs" items, including a pair of Louboutin shoes signed by actress Piper Perabo and Chris Gorham's blind man's cane (current bid, $710); a "House" oversized tennis ball signed by Dr. House himself, Hugh Laurie (current bid, $1,126.57); and "Family Guy" mementos signed by the show's creator, Seth MacFarlane.
Additional value-laden packages up for bid are a "Days of our Lives" set visit, a "Young and the Restless" set tour guided by fan favorite Kate Linder, VIP seats to "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," set visits to "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider" with the opportunity to meet an on-air host, and VIP seating at tapings for "Conan," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," "The Wendy Williams Show," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "Rules of Engagement."

Proceeds from the auction support the Foundation's educational and archival programs, including the College Television Awards; Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship; Summer Internship Program; and Archive of American Television, which showcases interviews with television legends, pioneers, innovators, and artists.
