Grassroots "Progressive Freedom Fund" Looking to Raise $100,000 to Air TV Spot Against Kasich

Group takes aim at Kasich policies and distortions of facts

CANFIELD, Ohio, Aug. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The grassroots organization PROGRESSIVE FREEDOM FUND today unveiled new TV spots, website and Facebook page. The group wants to air the TV spots in cities across Ohio and bring to light the misguided policies of John Kasich including S.B. 5 and how his small group of cronies is going to profit from the sale of Ohio's most valuable assets should that happen.

"Enough is enough, I've never seen such distortions of facts and utter disregard for ordinary citizens, and we must fight back," said Ken Carano*, founder and Executive Director of the Progressive Freedom Fund. Ken added, "Our group will quickly respond to any propaganda put out by John Kasich, Karl Rove or any other misinformation coming out of Ohio and Washington.
