Grammy Winning Group of Songwriters / Producers Announce a Benefit Concert at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe to Support the SADS Foundation

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Renowned Nashville-based songwriters/producers Cordle, Jackson & Salley (also known as Larry Cordle, Carl Jackson, and Jerry Salley) will band together on August 18, 2011, to host a benefit concert on behalf of the Fore A Good Kaas Foundation (http://www.foreagoodkaas.com) to support the SADS Foundation (http://www.StopSADS.org). The concert is dedicated to the memory of Rob Kaas, a professional golfer who died prematurely at the age of 28 due to SADS - Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome. All funds raised from this benefit concert will be donated to the SADS Foundation.

Songwriters Larry Cordle, Carl Jackson and Jerry Salley have had songs recorded by Garth Brooks, Ricky Skaggs, Patty Loveless, Alison Krauss, Diamond Rio, Gene Watson, Pam Tillis, The Osbourne Brothers, Johnny Paycheck, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Mel Tillis, George Jones, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, John Anderson, Glen Campbell, Nancy Sinatra, Dolly Parton, John Michael Montgomery, Travis Tritt, Steven Curtis Chapman and various other artists. Their songs have resulted in sales of over 75 million recordings. Two-time Grammy winner Carl Jackson is also a highly respected record producer, whose most recent Grammy was earned for his amazing production of a tribute album to the Louvin Brothers and resulted in the participation of many of Nashville's greatest music stars.
