It's BACK! Wed, July 20, at 7pm R&B Singer/Songwriter, Goapele with R&B Soul group KING will kick off the BHCP Live! 2011 Summer Series!

LOS ANGELES, July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The hottest concert series in the Southland returns as soulful R&B trio KING joins R&B singer/songwriter Goapele on the BHCP Live! stage for the first concert of the season. Come experience the fresh creativity of KING prior to the soulful vocals of Goapele's new project Milk and Honey. The FREE concert's pre-show begins at 6:30pm. ABOUT KING

Born in Minneapolis, twins Paris and Amber began their musical journey by listening to their parent's favorites from their baby crib. Frequent trips to the piano followed to develop their tone, along with a talent for music composition and writing. A chance meeting with LA native Anita Bias made the trio realize they were born to create together. The Story EP is KING's debut on their mission to change the world through art.

ABOUT Goapele

Hailing from Oakland, CA, Goapele broke onto the music scene in 2001 with her EP Closer. Critics quickly identified the songstress as an emerging artist to watch and heralded her debut album Even Closer as ahead of its time.
