NEW YORK, July 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Judith Curr, Executive VP and Publisher of Atria Books, today announced a deal to publish a collection of stunning, provocative photos that celebrate a woman's curves by prolific fashion photographer Raphael Mazzucco. The book, entitled CULO BY MAZZUCCO, available in stores and as an e-book on November 22, is at the forefront of an emerging trend in art, fashion and pop culture in which the bottom (or culo in Italian) is the new epicenter of female sexuality, desire, and empowerment. Inspired by a film will.i.am made in Brazil and conceived and shepherded to publication by acclaimed Interscope music executive Jimmy Iovine, the $65 art book tastefully and creatively recognizes this shift in society's long-held ideals of physical perfection toward a shape that is more authentic and bold.

Well-versed in bringing women of extraordinary beauty to the forefront of mainstream popular culture, Mazzucco searched the globe for the world's most stunning women to appear in the book. The result is a 248 page collection of color photographs and art pieces showcasing a diverse group of women--some already legendary, some about to become so--who embody the spirit of culo and the start of a new era of beauty.
