LAS VEGAS, June 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- meemo LLC, the Virtual Goods marketing, licensing and distribution company, has formalized a worldwide Virtual Goods license for Hasbro to take the TRANSFORMERS brand into additional channels of digital distribution. The announcement was made jointly today at the 2011 Licensing Show by Simon Waters, SVP Licensing, Hasbro, Inc. and Steve Sterling and Jed Corenthal, co-founders of meemo LLC.

Focusing on Hasbro's iconic TRANSFORMERS brand, meemo will develop a fully integrated, global marketing campaign around TRANSFORMERS-branded virtual goods. Examples of potential virtual goods include a TRANSFORMERS mask on Facebook to send to friends and a TRANSFORMERS t-shirt to dress an avatar.

The initial TRANSFORMERS brand virtual goods and virtual gifts offerings from meemo will be based on TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON, the latest installment in the TRANSFORMERS movie franchise from Paramount Pictures. The TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON virtual goods will be available on a variety of virtual world and social network platforms.
