HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- After just one month on air, the hosts of Almorzando Con Cantaso have generated industry buzz by upholding the commitment made at its premiere: featuring talented local artists. In a matter of weeks, hosts Bernardino Rosario and Astrid Cordoba have interviewed rising stars Luivy, Mateo y Kolombya, 3 Sixty Grados, Eddy y Henry, Latin Mixx Award Nominee DJ Carlito, Nikky y Montano, and others.

The idea of integrating local, often unsigned, talent was first proposed in a meeting with ESP 51 Entertainment president and co-founder, Sisco Ortega. Sisco recognized an issue in that local talent struggles to receive any air time on the major FM stations in New York.
