NEW YORK, NY--May 17, 2011--On Thursday, May 19, Los Angeles' top business and civic leaders will come together for a special evening event focused on sharing ideas for how to best prepare Southern California's students and workforce to compete in a global economy. Hosted by NBC News, NBC 4 LA, Telemundo 52 and partners, the event is entitled "Job One: Preparing America To Compete In The 21st Century" and will be held at the Los Angeles Pacific Design Center at 7 pm/pt.
