Tribune Broadcasting Names Scott Heath as Director of Sales Training and Initiatives
CHICAGO, April 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribune Broadcasting today announced that Scott Heath, currently the General Sales Manager at KSWB-TV/San Diego, has expanded his responsibilities and been named Director/Sales Training and Initiatives for the company's 23 television stations. Effective immediately, Heath also will be responsible for sales training and new initiatives such as the broadcast group's telesales and advertiser co-op efforts.
"Scott is very talented, has great experience and knows our station group extremely well," said Jerry Kersting, President of Tribune Broadcasting. "His leadership will be critical as we put more structure around our sales training practices and focus intently on new business development."
Heath joined KSWB-TV in 1986; he has held a variety of sales positions at the station during the course of his career including Regional/Local Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager. Heath is a member of the executive board of the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB) and is the former chairperson of its Sales Advisory Committee.
