LOS ANGELES, April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- EXTREMEMUSIC, the production music arm of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, has partnered with super-producers Timbaland and Mike "Daddy" Evans to co-executive produce a series of Urban Pop songs with a stunning lineup of new talent from Timbaland Productions, it was announced today by Russell Emanuel, CEO and President of Extreme Music.

"I'm looking forward to unleashing the Timbaland Productions crew on this exciting new project," said Timbaland. "The songs we're producing for Extreme are gonna blow people's minds."

With a string of hits ranging from Justin Timberlake to Diddy, Timbaland and Evans will produce 75 brand new tracks over the next year with the hottest up-and-coming talent from the Timbaland productions stable. The first of these highly-anticipated releases to join Extreme's already unrivaled line up will be delivered summer 2011.

"Extreme is renowned for playing boundary bustin' trump cards and this is no exception," said Emanuel. "Our urban music offering is already second to none with Snoop, Quincy and Rodney Jerkins - adding these guys means we now have all the bases loaded."

"I'm always looking for new ways to break boundaries and stay on top of changes in the industry, both creatively and from a business perspective," added Evans. "This partnership with Extreme gives us a great new avenue to introduce the up-and-coming, innovative talent we're nurturing here at Timbaland Productions."

"Timbaland, Mike Daddy, Dennis Dunphy (exec advisor) and Timbaland Productions are known for their success at being two steps ahead with their musical genius, originality and experimentation," said Media & Entertainment Industry Advisor Mith Niles, who brought the parties together. "Extreme has shattered any boundaries on the power of production music. There's no telling what the pairing of these two powerhouses will accomplish."
