Oprah Winfrey's to be Inducted Into The Illinois Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame

Oprah Winfrey will be the sole inductee into The Illinois
WHO: Broadcasters Association's (IBA) Hall of Fame

The Illinois Broadcasters Association will present a luncheon
and Hall of Fame induction ceremony honoring Oprah Winfey as
its 2011 inductee. ABC 7 Anchor/Reporter Cheryl Burton will
WHAT: serve as emcee of the event.

Speakers will include: Dennis Lyle, President/CEO of the IBA;
Roger Ebert, film critic and IBA Hall of Fame member (1999);
Judy Hsu, ABC 7 anchor/reporter and former graduate of the
IBA's "Multicultural Internship Program;" and Orion Samuelson,
WGN radio farm broadcaster and IBA Hall of Fame member (2005).

Former IBA Hall of Fame inductees who will also be in
attendance: Dick Biondi, radio personality and Hall of Fame
member (2006); Chris Bury, ABC news correspondent and Hall of
Fame member (2004); Bill Kurtis, broadcast journalist and Hall
of Fame member (1998).

WHEN: Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from Noon to 1:00 pm
