Anglers Cast Their Votes to Select WFN's 2011 Ultimate Fishing Town USA Presented by Eagle Claw

Over 300 Towns Nominated to Earn a $25,000 Community Donation and National Recognition

DENVER, April 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The polls are officially open for anglers from across the U.S. to cast their vote at www.WFNFishingTown.com for WFN's Ultimate Fishing Town USA. The winning town will earn a $25,000 community donation, WaveSpin Reels and a feature of their town, airing on WFN: World Fishing Network.

For the past six weeks, WFN, North America's only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network, asked anglers to nominate what they believed to be America's Ultimate Fishing Town. Thousands of anglers responded by nominating more than 300 different towns throughout the U.S. Anglers can vote up to four times daily during designated voting blocks online at www.WFNFishingTown.com.

WFN has divided the U.S., into seven voting regions with the first round of public voting open from April 12 - May 3. The Top 20 Towns, comprised of the two entries with the highest vote totals from each of the seven regions plus six "wild card" entrants selected by WFN, advance to the final round of voting from May 10 - 31, 2011. The results will be announced in June at a ceremony in the winning community emceed by a WFN personality.
