Verizon FiOS Customers Get New Programming Online From MTV Networks
MTV's 'Jersey Shore,' 'Teen Mom 2' and More Now Available Online for FiOS TV Subscribers; COMEDY CENTRAL and Nickelodeon Programming to Follow
NEW YORK, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon and MTV Networks are making more TV programming available online with the launch of new MTV shows on www.mtv.com/tve, MTV's dedicated website, as well as on Verizon's FiOS TV Online website, www.verizon.com/fiostvonline. FiOS TV subscribers are the first to gain online access to a selection of MTV's most popular shows, including recent, full episodes of "Jersey Shore" and "Teen Mom 2."
FiOS TV customers will automatically receive free, unlimited online access to popular content from MTV, with plans to bring content from MTV Networks' COMEDY CENTRAL and Nickelodeon online soon.

In addition to "Jersey Shore" and "Teen Mom 2," Verizon and MTV Networks are providing FiOS TV customers with online access to MTV shows like " Teen Cribs," "True Life," "The Real World: New Orleans" and "I Used To Be Fat." MTV will make additional shows available online soon including "The Hard Times of RJ Berger," "Cribs," "The Real World: Las Vegas" and "Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory."
Verizon customers who subscribe to FiOS TV are able to watch the MTV shows on their personal computers or laptops - at home or away - using any broadband connection. Using their Verizon Online user names and passwords, FiOS customers can access the online programming at either www.verizon.com/fiostvonlineor www.mtv.com/tve.
When COMEDY CENTRAL launches online, the channel expects to offer FiOS TV customers access to shows like "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," "The Colbert Report," "Tosh.0" and "Onion SportsDome." Nickelodeon will offer shows like "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Dora the Explorer," "iCarly," "House of Anubis" and more.
This new content joins part of Verizon's high-quality, online video entertainment, which the company has been delivering since 2005. FiOS also offers a broad collection of programming on TV, with more than 520 all-digital channels including up to 142 HD channels and 19,000 monthly video-on-demand titles. FiOS also provides next-generation interactive services including an advanced interactive media guide; social networking, news and entertainment widgets; remote DVR management via broadband or cell phone; and more.
