Mana Makes Exclusive Interview Appearance, Confirmed for Superstar Q&A During the 22nd Annual Billboard Latin Music Conference Presented by State Farm in Association With AT&T

MIAMI, March 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Billboard, the world's premier music brand, announced that Mana, the most influential Latin rock band of all time, will be featured on the Superstar Q&A Session at the Billboard Latin Music Conference Presented by State Farm in Association with AT&T. For the first time ever in their 20-year career, all four members of Mana--Fher Olvera, Alex Gonzalez, Sergio Vallin and Juan Diego Calleros--will sit for an intimate interview during the conference, discussing their music process, their tours and the state of the music industry.

The conference will take place from April 26 to 28 at the Eden Roc Renaissance, Miami Beach, Florida. Information about registration can be found at www.BillboardLatinConference.com.

The Superstar Q&A session with Mana will be conducted by Billboard's Executive Director for Latin Content and Programming, Leila Cobo, on Wednesday, April 27 at 1:30PM. "Mana is Latin rock's seminal group," said Cobo. "They are an example of the finest musicianship, integrity and perseverance. Every single album they have released in the U.S. has topped the 500,000 unit mark, unprecedented for a Latin act." Winner of nine Billboard Latin Music Awards, Mana has enjoyed worldwide sales of more than 25 million albums. The band's long awaited album "Drama y Luz" will launch in April under Warner Music, five years after their smash hit album "Amar es Combatir."

The renowned conference features three days of provocative panel discussions, networking receptions, and exclusive access to events all week long, including the Billboard Bash -- a pre-Billboard Latin Music Awards show celebration featuring performances by some of this year's finalists, and The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm -- the longest running and most prestigious awards show in the Latin music industry. The awards show, produced and broadcast live by Telemundo, honors the biggest stars based on the Latin Billboard charts, and features performances by top artists across all genres of Latin music.

For the first time, the conference will also present a Marketing Day, which includes the First Annual Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards honoring the best Marketing, Branding and Sponsorship campaigns that use Latin artists and Latin songs. This year, registration also includes tickets to Billboard en Concierto -- a local concert series featuring top 2011 Billboard Latin Music Finalists.
