"Unity through Diversity" is a patriotic celebration of America's great strength through its diversity, presented as a musical journey of cultural rhythms and patriotic melodies in a crossover, pop style. The concert was created and composed by Ms. Arsenijevic, who is now an American citizen, and has been broadcast on Public Television to more than 60 million households nationwide. Music critics have described the show as one "that will get you to stand up and cheer for America with a renewed passion for your heritage." Her style has been lauded as "unique to the ears, yet very familiar to the soul."

Tickets are $35 for general admission, $50 for reserved seating in the main chapel, and $100 for patrons who are invited to a private reception for Ms. Arsenijevic and afterglow following the concert. Seats are limited. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Academy's After School Learning Center, a 20-year partnership providing academic tutoring and enrichment opportunities to underserved students in Pontiac and neighboring communities.

The Leaders of Conscience Speaker Series aims to provide ethical guidance and real-life testimonials from internationally-known personalities whose lives and works inspire students and the larger community with messages of hope and optimism. Past recipients of the Leaders of Conscience award include Emmy Award-winning journalist and bestselling author Cokie Roberts, legendary coach and author Lou Holtz, and hockey great Steve Yzerman.

"The Leaders of Conscience Speaker Series provides an opportunity for both our students and our greater community to expand our awareness of social values and impel us to action," said Sr. Bridget Bearss, Head of School of the Academy of the Sacred Heart. "Our awardees reinforce the mission of the Academy in preparing a new generation of leaders of conscience, creative thinkers, ethical problem solvers and those prepared to lead without hesitation in any walk of life."
