Time Warner Cable Celebrates the Caribbean World Series With 'A Night of Caribbean Baseball' Featuring Guests Bernie Williams, Juan Marichal and JI Starr
NEW YORK, Feb. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- With a spirit to celebrate the Caribbean World Series and connect with the local New York City community, Time Warner Cable hosted a fun-filled event on Saturday, February 5 at The Baseball Center in Manhattan. The event incorporated the presentation of a special donation to the Inwood Little League and featured the participation of baseball legend, Bernie Williams, baseball Hall of Famer, Juan Marichal and famous radio DJ, JI Starr, who served as Master of Ceremonies.

Bernie Williams and Juan Marichal conducted baseball clinics with the Inwood Little League kids, distributed autographed baseballs and delivered remarks about Time Warner Cable's donation to the Inwood Little League, which included athletic equipment such as catcher's gear, a batting cage and a pitching machine. In addition, Inwood Little League kids who attended the event received a Time Warner Cable gift certificate to support their enrollment in their League in the upcoming season. To wrap up the event, attendees enjoyed ESPN Deportes' viewing of the Caribbean World Series' Mexico vs. Dominican Republic.
