Fliers get complimentary Facebook access from Ford and Gogo
Traveling in the skies just got a little easier, thanks to a program by Gogo and Ford. Travelers flying on Gogo-equipped aircraft will have complimentary access to Facebook for the month of February, courtesy of Ford. This access will enable travelers to keep in touch while flying at 30,000 feet. The service is available to users on all Wi-Fi-enabled devices including laptops, smartphones and PDAs. more...

Top Gear personality Tanner Foust to co-host Focus Global Test Drive
HISTORY television personality from the American edition of Top Gear, Tanner Foust, will host blogger and consumer participants in the first-ever Focus Global Test Drive, to be held Feb. 18-20 near Madrid, Spain. A car control expert, Foust has been a stunt driver, rally competitor, a three-time X Games gold medalist and two-time Formula D drift champion. Foust and veteran road racer and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Justin Bell will greet, host and coach Focus Global Test Drive participants as they put the all-new Focus through its paces. Test drivers will chronicle their on-track experiences through social networks, while raising $10,000 for the charity of their choice. more...

Ford Focus Electric plugs in at Petersen Automotive Museum
You might remember seeing the bright orange Ford Focus Electric running around a track and being driven by your favorite celebrities during the Green Car Challenge on "The Jay Leno Show" last year. That vehicle has now permanently plugged in at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Ford has officially handed the museum keys to one of two Focus Electric prototypes used during the show's Green Car Challenge segment.more...
