NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- the cell: A Twenty First Century Salon (www.thecelltheatre.org) announced today its second salon series of the 2011 season - Surviving Arts, celebrating the survival of arts and artists. "We created the cell as a place to introduce, incubate and showcase artists of every discipline," said Nancy Manocherian, Founding Artistic Director. "The salon gives audiences an opportunity to experience new art in an intimate setting. The Surviving Arts series is just one example of how the cell brings a diverse group of artists together for audiences to enjoy at an affordable price."
