Horowitz Associates Announces Topics, Date and Venue for the 11th Annual Multicultural Media for a Multicultural America Forum
To be Held Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 at the Roosevelt New York Hotel
Forum has become signature event for research, programming and advertising to multicultural audiences
NEW YORK, Jan. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Howard Horowitz, President of Horowitz Associates, has announced the return, for the 11th year in a row, of the Annual Horowitz Multicultural Media Forum in New York City. This year's Forum will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at the Roosevelt New York Hotel on 45th Street and Madison Avenue.
The 11th Annual Horowitz Multicultural Forum is the venue for getting the latest research on the attitudes and behaviors of multicultural audiences especially as it applies to pay TV, broadband, and mobile platforms. The Forum has become the signature event where programmers, advertisers, agencies, and pay TV companies discuss strategies for capturing and retaining audiences and subscribers in multicultural America.
The Forum will focus on leveraging culture to attract multi-ethnic audiences. "This year we will especially look at the role of social media, mobile apps, and interactive/enhanced TV services in gaining 'share of culture' among multicultural consumers," said Adriana Waterston, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Horowitz Associates. Waterston adds, "We will also address new trends in programming for multicultural audiences, how to continue to sell pay TV services to multicultural homes and, using multiple platforms to keep consumers connected to your brand."
For the past ten years, the Forum has attracted over 300 attendees from the pay TV industry and from programmers, production companies, advertisers, agencies and the financial community. This year, Horowitz will once again present a unique research study that talks about how today's multiplatform, multicultural environment is a game-changer for the TV industry. It will also look closely at the dynamic changes in today's demographics that are reshaping the definition of the "general market."
Registration and Continental Breakfast for the Forum start at 8am with Opening Remarks at 8:45am. In addition to the presentation of the Horowitz Research Study, there will be two Keynote presentations and 2 panels featuring top programming, marketing and advertising executives. Closing remarks are scheduled for 12:55pm followed by a snack and go networking opportunity. The Forum concludes at 2pm.
The Forum is presented by Horowitz Associates, Inc., a leading research firm with particular expertise in research among Hispanic, multicultural, and global audiences, and is produced on behalf of Horowitz by the Schramm Marketing Group. Schramm also produces other major industry events including the Hispanic Television Summit, The Video on Demand Summit and The OnScreen Media Summit for leading industry publications Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable, among others.
