Blip.tv Continues Expansion of National Sales Team
Announces Ron Golminas as Vice President of Sales, Midwest
NEW YORK, Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Next generation television network blip.tv announced today that Ron Golminas has joined the company as Vice President of Sales, Midwest, bringing with him over 20 years of experience. In his new role with blip.tv, Ron will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining client relationships across the Midwest as the company continues the expansion of its national sales team. He will focus his efforts in Missouri, Indiana, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.

Before coming to blip.tv, Ron was the Chicago associate manager for Newsweek and Newsweek.com, where he consistently increased the company's revenue year over year, through multi-platform programs, including print, digital and live events. As recognition for capturing the lead market share and earning top revenues, he was awarded into Newsweek's Leadership Circle.
Prior to Newsweek, Ron was an account manager at Better Homes and Gardens WOOD Magazine. In that role, he increased sales and raised billings more than $1.5 million through digital, print and event marketing. Ron is currently the president of the Chicago Magazine Association. He is also on the committee of MPA Magazine Day in Chicago, IL and Minneapolis, MN, and the Chicago Advertising Federation. Ron graduated with a B.A. at Northern Illinois University.
