ATLANTA, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift was recently nominated for "Best Music Engagement App" by Billboard. The app runs on Mix Me In's, "in2" Interactive Music Technology allowing music fans to customize the vocals and individual instrument parts of a song to create countless unique versions or mixes.

Under the Mix Me In banner, a host of new Interactive Music Technology products are scheduled for release that will redefine how music is delivered to users across a diverse set of platforms including gaming, mobile and online.

"As the first of our many 'in2' music releases, Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift is performing beyond expectations," says Fried Green Apps COO Brian Smith. "Like all the upcoming artist branded applications we are releasing, Taylor's app provides premium content and ways for her fans to buy new music."

Taylor Swift called the technology "awesome" and "unbelievable" in her new viral video using the app with her guitarist Grant Mickelson. The video has received more than 290,000 views since Billboard's announcement on September 2, 2010--landing it as this week's #1 viewed "Science & Technology" video on YouTube.
