The Future is Looking Bright... 'My Girl,' Debut Single From Sensational New Group Mindless Behavior, Released on iTunes

Videos And Debut Album #1 Girl To Follow

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, August 24, the future truly arrives with the release on iTunes of "My Girl," the debut single from the four talented 13-year-old boys of Mindless Behavior--Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray and Princeton.

The bubbly, infectious track, produced by Walter Millsap (Beyonce, Timbaland, Alicia Keys, J. Lo), is the first issued from the group's forthcoming Conjunction/Streamline/Interscope debut album, #1 Girl. The music video, including a special 3-D version, will premiere on AOL early next week.

#1 Girl is all about young men looking to find their number one girl, whether on explosive party tracks, fun mid-tempos or introspective ballads. Among the album's other writers & producers are Vincent Herbert, Candice Nelson (Mary J. Blige, Ciara, Britney Spears), Polow da Don (Pussycat Dolls, Ludacris, Fergie, Usher, Rich Boy), Boi-1da (Eminem, Drake), and Harold Lilly (Alicia Keys, Monica, Mario).

The Conjunction Productions team and Streamline Records head Vincent Herbert came up with the concept of the group in 2008, and Mindless Behavior was formed after an audition hosted by Conjunction--a teaming of Millsap, Keisha Gamble, Candice Nelson and choreographer David Scott (who with Gamble helped discover B2K). After two years of artist development to hone the boys' singing, rapping and dancing, Herbert, who also discovered Lady Gaga and has executive produced all of her music, brought the boys to Streamline's joint venture partner, Interscope Records.

"The future is looking bright... I want you to remember their name," said hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs in a video blog after seeing Mindless Behavior perform.

If the reaction of teen girls during the group's recent tour of Los Angeles high schools as well as opening sets with Justin Bieber (Pop-Con 2010) and the Backstreet Boys (This Is Us 2010) is any indication, Mindless Behavior may soon join the ranks of great young male groups who preceded them, from the Jackson 5 and New Edition to N'Sync and B2K.
