During the month of August viewers will see updates to the following stories:

"Paging Dr. Fraud." This story delved into the billion-dollar industry of Medicare fraud. Rather and his team reported on the Department of Health and Human Service's "Medicare Strike Force" who have arrested and prosecuted hundreds of people and recouped more than 400 million dollars in fraudulent payments. Where is the Strike Force now and are the members closer to shutting down the fraud that runs rampant in Medicare?

"Taking on the Fed." Dan Rather's team follow up with Florida Congressman Alan Grayson, who is fighting to reveal the hidden practices of the US Federal Reserve bank - and to find out where the Fed has spent its billions.

"Knocking Heads." Rather and his team will update viewers on the epidemic of concussions suffered by football players and the serious, long term damage done by this heavy contact sport. The NFL has since made positive steps in warning players of the long term effects of concussions syndrome - can the NCAA and our nation's high schools be far behind?

"Battle Plan." How does this country decide future war strategies and why is the Pentagon making decision to prepare the United States to fight more wars like those in Iraq and Afghanistan - wars against counterinsurgency? What lessons have we learned from both of these wars?

"Haiti." After many different reports on the condition of Haiti and its people after the earthquake that rocked the island country, "Dan Rather Reports" will take a look at how far we've come in aiding these people in need - and how far we still need to go.

"Dan Rather Reports " premieres every Tuesday on HDNet at 8:00 p.m. ET with an encore at 11:00 p.m. ET.
