Video Contest Offers Fans the Chance to Win $5,000

Fans everywhere are invited to enter the Snuggie® Choice Film Awards for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000 or $2,500 each for second and third place. As inspiration, Allstar Products Group today unveiled a sneak-peek at the Snuggie® Fall 2010 TV commercial campaign. The Snuggie® maker may even decide to use some amateur talent for future Snuggie® TV commercials.

The newest Snuggie® commercial offers a tribute to the cult classic "Macarena" song, with Snuggie®-clad models dancing to the "Snugarena" in their favorite blanket with sleeves. This commercial is the first within the campaign. Stay tuned this fall for a series of "Snugarena" commercials which will feature different lyrics, designs and scenes.

Videos must be no longer than three minutes and can cover a range of genres, such as comedy, drama, action or documentary. All entries must be received by midnight EDT on September 1, 2010.

Submissions will be narrowed down to six finalists, and America will determine the winners in a public voting period in September. All six finalists will be flown to the Snuggie® Choice Film Awards premiere in New York City in October and will win the entire 2010 Snuggie® blanket collection.
