Goal Is to Sell 7,000 Pre-produced Packages to Support Schoolchildren in Need
HOUSTON, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, the retail energy business of GDF SUEZ Energy North America, will join Cox Radio in sponsoring the 2010 "Stuff the School Bus" drive, an education initiative designed to collect school supplies for Houston area students.

From August 1 through August 22, Kroger stores throughout the area will set up collection barrels at the front of each location. Inside the store, shoppers can purchase pre-packaged bags of school supplies for $6 and then drop them off in the barrels.
The goal is to sell all 7,000 pre-produced school supply packages, which will go to students in the Pasadena, Fort Bend, and Spring Branch independent school districts.
As part of the drive, local Cox Radio stations will be broadcasting live from the following Kroger stores:
