Do you Know who you are Voting for? UKIP Launch Their Manifesto and use Video Messaging Technology to Reach the Masses

LONDON, April 13, 2010/PRNewswire/ -- UKIP has launched its " Sod the Lot" manifesto and Lord Pearson's party
are giving voters the chance to see and hear their prospective parliamentary
MPs ( PPC's) thanks to the UK's fastest growing video communications company
Winkball.

UKIP say they're bringing canvassing into the 21st century and more than
60 of their candidates have recorded bite-sized video manifestos for voters
to view on line at Winkball.com

The 2010 campaign is being hailed as the UK's first on-line election and
the most eagerly anticipated in decades. Winkball are embracing this grass
roots enthusiasm and say they'll interview all 3000 Parliamentary candidates
from all constituencies across the UK.

Hundreds of PPCs have already turned to Winkball's 'Do you
know who you're voting for ' campaign and are actively on the site urging the
public to vote for them.

Each candidate can sum up in a video interview what issues are
most important to them, and where they stand on key policies to give voters
an insight into issues that are affecting their local constituencies. Voters
can respond with their own comments, recorded on web cameras, or can even
leave a question in a hope that a candidate will respond to them.

The UKIP prospective candidates who are already on line include ex UKIP
leader Nigel Farage - Buckingham, Dr David Sebastian Fairweather - Banbury,
Waheed Rafiq - Birmingham Hodge Hill and Charles Dodman - Eddisbury.

Winkball co-founder Dr James Ohene-Djan says " Campaigning has never been
this exciting and the electorate has never seemingly been so interested in
politics. This is truly an on-line election and gives voters an amazing
insight into so many prospective parliamentary candidates. We are aiming to
interview and feature as many PPCs as possible on Winkball.com.
