Crosby, Stills & Nash Announce Second U.S. Leg of 2010 Summer Tour Including Dates With Tom Petty

NEW DATES FOLLOW UP PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED ITINERARIES IN WESTERN U.S. AND EUROPE

LOS ANGELES, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The legendary trio Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN)--David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash--have added a second leg of U.S. dates to its 2010 tour. It begins August 11 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA, the first of seven dates CSN will do with Tom Petty. The second leg dates--featuring CSN-only shows as well as performances with Petty--extend a previously announced CSN tour of West coast appearances in May and June, as well as European concerts throughout July.

Newly added dates on CSN's tour include shows at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ (8/19); Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY (8/20); Borgata Spa & Resort Event Center in Atlantic City, NJ (8/29); The Lawn at White River State Park in Indianapolis, IN (8/23); Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY (8/31); and Tanglewood in Lenox, MA (9/1).

Highlights from the initial U.S. leg of CSN's tour, announced last month, include Humphrey's in San Diego (5/25-26); Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (6/2); the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix (5/29); Portland, OR's Amphitheater at Clark County (6/11); and the Seattle area's Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery (6/12).

In between the tour's two U.S. legs is a series of European dates kicking off in the U.K. on July 1 at The O2 in Dublin, Ireland. Other European highlights include two dates at London's Royal Albert Hall (7/3-4); Queen Elizabeth Auditorium in Antwerp, Belgium (7/9); The Olympia in Paris (7/12-13); Auditorium Parco Della Musica in Rome (7/19); and the Tollwood Sommerfestival in Munich, Germany (7/25).

The group's 2010 tour follows up a 12-month period marked by high profile performances and projects. Earlier this year, CSN musically saluted Neil Young--their longtime partner in Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young--at NARAS' Person of the Year gala honoring Young that kicked off 2010 GRAMMY® week. In October 2009, CSN played at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary concerts at Madison Square Garden. CSN was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, and each member also has the remarkable distinction of being inducted a second time as part of another legendary group: David Crosby for The Byrds, Stephen Stills with Buffalo Springfield, and Graham Nash for The Hollies.

2009 also marked the induction of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, as well as Rhino Records' release of CSN Demos. Featuring 12 previously unreleased tracks recorded between 1968 and 1971, the album spotlights destined-to-be-classic songs later heard on CSN's group and solo titles.

CSN's music became a cornerstone of rock 'n roll with the group's self-titled 1969 debut LP, now one of Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time." That same year, they were honored with the GRAMMY award for Best New Artist. 1970's Deja Vu--another "500 Greatest"--followed, and was the first album from the group's four-man line-up with Neil Young (CSN&Y). Ever since--through changing times and various configurations--Crosby, Stills & Nash have continued to tour and record as "three together."
