Mexico's COFETEL Federal Telecommunications Commission Confirms Legality of Hi-tv Digital Terrestrial Multicasting System, Setting the Stage for Digital Migration in Mexico

The resolution issued on December 14, 2009 recognizes the possibility of transmitting several signals within the spectrum concessioned to TV Azteca and validates that Hi-tv follows relevant legislation: The Federal Radio and Television Law; mandates of its concession, the Agreement for the Transition to Digital Terrestrial Television and ATSC norms.
