Controversial Films 'The Third Jihad' and 'Obsession' to Have U.S. Television Premiere on AmericanLife TV Network(TM)
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- AmericanLife Network(TM) (ALN), the only independent network devoted to America's baby boomer generation and their families, delivering classic TV, lifestyle, original and socially responsible programming, announced today that it will present the world premiere broadcast of the groundbreaking documentaries "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West" and "The Third Jihad: Radical Islam's Vision for America." The announcement was made by ALN President & CEO Chris Wyatt.
"The Third Jihad" will premiere first, on Sunday, October 18th at 7 PM ET/4 PM PST, while "Obsession" will premiere on Sunday, December 6th at 7 PM ET/4 PM PST.
"The Third Jihad" is a riveting documentary about the most urgent issue of our time, the destructive aims of Radical Islam and its mounting threat to America and the world. The film centers on the FBI discovery of a Grand Jihad Manifesto calling for a 'cultural jihad' to undermine the U.S. from within and exposes this impending force as rarely covered by mainstream media.
The film offers sobering interviews with all of the major players-from the radical extremists, to the leaders trying to stop them. All those interviewed agree that the spread of Islamic fundamentalism in America is a societal reality that cannot be ignored.
"We are pleased to bring the U.S. premiere of 'The Third Jihad' to ALN," said Chris Wyatt, President and CEO of ALN. "This is the first time 'Obsession' will be broadcast in its entirety in the U.S. We firmly believe every American family should be educated on this subject which has become a matter of national security."
Leaders and experts featured in "The Third Jihad" include: Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Senator Joe Lieberman, former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, former CIA Director Jim Woolsey, New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, American Muslim, and Founder and President of The American-Islamic Forum for Democracy Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, as well as a first-hand account from former terrorist Dr. Tawfik Hamid.
"Obsession" is an intriguing documentary that focuses on the threat radical Islam poses to Western civilization. Utilizing rarely seen footage from Arab television, eyewitness testimony, and expert interviews, it reveals an 'insider's view' of the hatred the Radicals are teaching, their incitement of global jihad, and their goal of world domination. The film also traces the parallels between the Nazi movement of World War II, the Radicals of today, and the Western world's response to both threats.
The film features interviews with Harvard Law School professor Alan Dershowitz, Middle East Forum Director and prize-winning columnist Daniel Pipes, militant Islamic terrorism expert and award-winning filmmaker Steve Emerson, former PLO terrorist Walid Shoebat, and former Hitler Youth Officer Alfons Heck.
"The Third Jihad" and "Obsession" are directed by Wayne Kopping, and produced by Raphael Shore.
"These films will have a profound impact on TV viewers," said Director Wayne Kopping.
"It is imperative that every American watch these groundbreaking, critically acclaimed films to become better informed about the very real presence of radical Islam right here in the U.S. in order to help mobilize against this impending threat," said Producer Raphael Shore.

Radical Islam's Vision for America
The Hidden War
There's a hidden war taking place in America, one which threatens the freedoms and values we all take for granted. The enemy is taking advantage of our country's democratic process and using it to further its own aims.
Inside the Film
Using footage from the Arab media, and first-hand accounts, the mounting dangers of jihad are uncovered:
-- The numerous terrorist threats since 9/11, and the likelihood that
more are being planned now.
-- The threat of nuclear weapons falling into the hands of terrorists.
-- The subtle dangers of non-violent "cultural jihad" and its influence
in America's universities.
-- An update on radical Muslim prisoner recruitment.
Background: "Obsession"
Almost 70 years ago, Europe found itself at war with one of the most sinister figures in modern history: Adolf Hitler. When the last bullet of World War II was fired, over 50 million people were dead, and countless countries were both physically and economically devastated. Hitler's bloody struggle sought to forge the world anew, in the crucible of Nazi values. How could such a disaster occur? How could the West have overlooked the evil staring it in the face, for so long, before standing forcefully against it? Today, we find ourselves confronted by a new enemy, also engaged in a violent struggle to transform our world. As we sleep in the comfort of our homes, a new evil rises against us. A new menace is threatening, with all the means at its disposal, to bow Western civilization under the yoke of its values. That enemy is radical Islam.
Using images and footage from Arab TV, "Obsession" offers an 'insider's view' into the hatred teachings of radical Islamists, their incitement of global jihad, and their goal of world domination. The film features first-hand accounts from a former PLO terrorist, a Nazi youth commander, and the daughter of a martyred guerilla leader.
