Saddle Ranch Productions Announces New Releases
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Saddle Ranch Productions, Inc., after announcing the completion of principal photography on its feature film "Rock and Roll-The Movie" last month, today announced the completion of principal photography on the documentary entitled "Dietary Supplements, Yes? No? Maybe?" (working title subject to change). The 90 minute feature length documentary investigates America's fascination and love affair with dietary supplements. Where do Americans get their information? Why do they believe or disbelieve the information they receive? What do the thought leaders of the medical and scientific communities have to say about supplements, and what do the designers, developers and manufacturers of supplements have to say? Produced by Benjamin Oberman, directed by Steffanie Siebrand, and written by Elaine Mann, the film interviews detractors, proponents, users who swear by them, and others who think it's all snake oil, who combine to make this documentary an intriguing film. Philip M. Cohen, Executive Producer, said, "It was an interesting couple of months having teams shooting a teen oriented comedy and a serious feature length documentary at the same time. I will say I never deviated from my vitamin and supplement regimen during this period of potential confusion."
Saddle Ranch Productions, Inc., simultaneously announced preproduction on their next feature length documentary offering with a working title of "Vaccinations: The Whole Story," as well a new feature film, the drama entitled "Dream in American," an original screenplay written by Sansan Fibri to be produced by Jethro Rothe-Kushel.
"Dietary Supplements: Yes? No? Maybe?" is scheduled to be released for the 2010 film festival season.
