Mega TV Is the First Spanish-Language Network to Launch Its High Definition Service on the Comcast System in South Florida

Mega TV's Full Primetime Programming Lineup Now Available in HD on Comcast Channel 438

MIAMI, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spanish Broadcasting System (NASDAQ:SBSA) ("SBS") announced today that Mega TV is broadcasting its entire primetime programming lineup in high-definition (HD) on Comcast cable systems in South Florida. The addition of Mega TV HD on Comcast will allow residents in South Florida to view and experience Mega TV's popular and originally produced primetime programs in the dynamically enhanced HD format.

Recently, Mega TV began broadcasting its primetime programs including "Maria Elvira Live," "Esta Noche Tu Night," "Paparazzi TV Sensacional," "Mega News" and "Los Implicados" in HD. Mega TV HD can be seen on Channel 438 on Comcast's Limited Basic High Definition service, in addition to its existing standard definition broadcast on Channel 22.
