ATLANTA, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Concurrent (NASDAQ:CCUR), a worldwide leader in video and media data and advertising solutions, today announced the market introduction of its Central Data Warehouse (CDW). CDW is a cross-services data storage and correlation solution designed to offer a 360-degree view of linear, video-on-demand, and interactive media consumption across television, mobile and online screens.

Concurrent's CDW is the industry's first centralized data warehouse solution that allows broadband operators to consolidate the collection, storage, and correlation of census-level media data from services such as linear broadcast viewing, VOD, and online video consumption, facilitating a secure and seamless exchange of consumption data among media industry stakeholders.
The explosion of video on TV, personal computers and mobile devices has created a fundamental shift in consumer viewing behavior, but current data storage offerings are not adequately designed to collect consolidated, census-level consumption data across the three screens. CDW provides access to the four dimensional data views of subscriber consumption, content consumption, operational reporting, and advertising campaign performance while eliminating the need for multiple media data warehouses and simplifying access to enable analytics and reporting.
"With CDW, operators can leverage their real-time, census-level data to deliver accurate reporting to their valued stakeholders, who in turn can make informed decisions regarding content consumption and advertising effectiveness across multiple services and screens," said Paul Haddad, Concurrent vice president and general manager, Media Data and Advertising Solutions (MDAS). "Concurrent has leveraged our leadership and significant experience in media data management to address a complex, specialized, and growing challenge to all participants in the media industry value chain."
With the introduction of CDW, current and new Concurrent customers can upgrade their MDAS data platforms and accelerate their support of industry-wide audience measurement firms calling for real time, cross-services data. CDW is designed with open and standards based interfaces to support configurable and seamless data exchange with authorized third parties.
CDW will be commercially available in September, 2009 for VOD services, and will support and integrate linear and interactive data in Q4, 2009. Mobile and online data support will be available in the first half of 2010.
Concurrent solutions are deployed by major service providers in 265 markets worldwide supporting over 33 million digital households, and the company is actively partnering with leading media stakeholders to support industry data initiatives.
